Arrival Story:
My mommy knew she wanted a Brussels Griffon after seeing the movie As Good As it Gets and found my breeder who told her that she had my sexy self available for adoption. I was the last one in the litter because my rib cage was larger than the breed standard (my canine mommy and daddy were showdogs). Mommy had to adopt me (heck who wouldn't, I'm the BOMB!) Her mistake- now I AM IN CHARGE!!!! Now that I have taken over her house I am on my way to my ultimate goal- TAKING OVER THE WORLD!!!!
Bio:
I am a handsome bearded little devil that needs constant attention! People tell me that I have so much expression that I am almost human- I say "almost?! I am a HUMAN- not a dog!" I love my mommy and want to be with her 24/7! I want to get her fired from her job so she can stay home with me! Sometimes I get nervous when mommy leaves and I bark. I love going anywhere and everywhere with my mommy, even if it means mommy smuggling me in her sweatshirt or a bag!
I'm a Leo, I love to snuggle, love long walks on the beach and getting my belly rubbed. I love bacon flavored treats- my eyes bug out and I freak out when I think there is a remote possibility that I may get one (I also eat my own poop, so as you can see I have a rather sophisticated palate).
I love playing with other doggies my size (except my cousin who likes to bite me hard and get on my last nerve!)

Hey guys! I typically do not typically solicit people, but since we are all animal lovers here I thought those interested would understand that this is for a good cause. Elmo and I are participating in a Walkathon for Barkapalooza 2008 (http://www.barkapalooza.org) in Downers Grove, IL to help support the West Suburban Humane Society (http://www.wshs-dg.org/wshs/). The Walkathon is an annual event held in an effort to raise funds to pay for the shelter animals’ food and vet care. If anyone would like to make a donation for these homeless animals (no amount is too low- it all adds up and goes to a good cause and is greatly appreciated!) you can do so through the link to my fundraising page (http://www.firstgiving.com/grifftastic).
