The 22nd is my birthday, and the 4th was the day I became a Champion! Mom and I made it through six separate dog shows over the past week and a half...oy! No more for a while! ;P It is always fun to see Bob, my kin, and other Saluki friends, though. And we could've moved right into the apartment above the garage at my old home, heheheh!! >;) So, I brought us home a bunch more ribbons and prizes for our album, and my work on that front is now done, at least for some time. Yesterday we went to the Trenton Kennel Club show by ourselves...didn't know most of the other dogs or people there, which was unusual, but I came away with Best of Opposite. Now, we kick back and unwind, while Mom ponders some extra-special treats and activities with which to celebrate my birthday...the usual toys, perhaps another recipe? Frozen treats? Lure coursing, even? :] Hey, all this victory calls for something truly wicked awesome!

Because there are soooo many, and they just get better and better, and this is how we've been recording everything (including Jack, my new little Beagle brother) for the past few years--photography and videography!
Our dear old Molly and Casey are also in some of this. (Their times overlapped the days of film cameras AND digital ones, so most of their photos are physical, developed copies in physical photo albums.)

Mom's YouTube account name is Mktillg; plenty of her videos are inclusive of me. Just friend her on there or FB for easy access to the rest of the albums/photos and videos that feature moi... ;)
For instance, I'm in some of these: http://michellekti.blogspot.com/2011/12/links-to-my-unlisted -youtube-videos-out.html
This was her "Tail of Devotion" to me, when Dogster asked for those back in the year I was born & she got me: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAjokxHWiKQ
And I and/or one or more of my pup pals also appear in:

I have now been in 5. I know I only bother writing about shows, because Mom and I are way too busy to be able to record anything else! But keeping track of my little ribbon collection might be worthwhile. This time around was fantastic--the 4th, 5th, and 6th of the month saw me taking 3rd, then 2nd, then 1st!, and then getting Winners Bitch. The third time really was the charm! It was by far my best day yet. Mom can keep the ribbons and the bucket full of paper mache (insert approrpiate accent marks in your mind, please.) I earned my flavored biscuits that came inSIDE the paper in the bucket. Oh, yes.
Oh, yeah, and, around the end of August Rust and I went along on the family trip to Lake Como. No point in detailing it here, we've got all the pics and the video elsewhere, but fun times! Fun times.
Mom also says that, for a sighthound, I move terribly slowly unless I feel like stepping it up. It's true...I do take my dear sweet time and am frequently a roadblock in people's ways. I stand accused of believing myself to be a superhuman person. But I ask you...am I...not??? L=<
Eta: ONE MORE THING.
Mom's dressing as a German beer maiden for Oktoberfest/Halloween this year. For me she's got this sheer red "Harem Dog" get-up. Pics to be added in my personal album. It may just be my favorite thing to wear--I gotta say, looks good on me, and despite being too large (can we adjust it in some way?), it's highly appropriate. Or maybe I've just realized that it's worth getting dressed...I sure put on my best behavior for trying it on, anyways, in exchange for Beggin' Strips. But on a more serious note...
There really is too much going on in Mom's world. But I know wherever she goes, whatever she does, I'll be there. For instance, apple picking! If all goes according to plan I get to come along for that beloved tradition this year. No, I mean, really, more important things than that. Whatever happens...! Me. :P
