Arrival Story: Well we used to work for GRR (golden rescue) and her and her brother jack were brought in and were only going to stay the night her name then was frost (jack and frost) (jack frost)
but we fell in love with her and here she is!
Bio: She is a happy girl. She can be very hyper but is just a goof ball.
Shea loves My 13 year old daughter's best friend Abby. She adores her. If Abby comes over for a sleepover and brings slippers then shea will steel them and run around the house with it in her mouth. She won't destroy it, she will just carry it around and show off. She also loves to talk. AROOOOOOO!

Around winter 2006 She got cancer.
It has came back several times and some days you can tell that she is just so tired from fighting this cancer.
In Feburary 2007 She had another growth removed.

Newest cancer update~ As of Late June 07 and Early July 07 Shea's cancer has come back. The doctore will give her another check up and remove the growth in a couple of weeks. In June she got hotspots and pink eye (so did Maxi) But luckily it has finnaly cleared up. But now she has a yeast infection in her ears. Poor Little Shea. But she has always stayed strong
*******Update-Today Aug,11,07 Shea has returned home from surgery we took her in on the 1oth and the vet had her stay for the night to watch her.She is a bit sleepy and Groggy right now but with in no time she will be her normal happy hyper self. Hopefully this is the last time with this horrible cancer!!

Miss Molly, my dear sweet friend is battling with cancer again! And this time it's very bad. The dogtor says the most she could live is two years. Please pray for Molly! DIE CANCER DIE!
Hi everypup! Sorry I haven't written in a bit been very busy. Well I have alot of happy news but some very very sad news also, I guess I shall start with the happy news.
First off my week started pretty good, especially when I saw that my sweet Hollywood "Superstar" friend Pita was chosen as DOTW! Pita is a wonderful pup and when I was going through getting rid of my cancer and when I was Diary Of The Day she became my sweet pal.Actually I was already very content because on 2/4/08 we got dogster plus back! It expired a few days before, and the pup who gave us dogster plus the first time (Spike) was so sweet so since we had a good amount of zealies and such left we visited his page and gave him a virtual kiss on his little online pup-kissing booth, we gave him a star thanking him for the five hundreth time for giving us a wonderful year on dogster we also gave him two zealies for his other little kissing booth for All Fur Fun a "kiss" for both of us (Maxie and Me) hehe. *Sigh* Spikey your so good to us! Then we found this wonderful websites, which helps to find a cure for canine cancer! It gives information about cancer, different types of cancer that your pooch may have ect. It is a very nice website and now definatly one of my new favorites.
Now time for the sad news......yesterday was the one year fursary that my kitty cat brofur Charlie went to the rainbow bridge. I miss him and my mom does especially. So I was already sad but when I logged on a little bit ago after finding that I had a bit of time to woof with some of pals, I found out that my beloved pal Lucky is very very sick and may...even go to the rainbow bridge tomrow.Lucky has already survived horrible cancer and sadly had to have on of her legs removed do to it, but she gets around find now and has actually been doing fairly well but well here is the sad news, written by Lucky's mom:
"Mom here.
This is a post I have been dreading to write. As some of you may know, Lucky has been battling osteosarcoma. Last year she had the amputation and chemotherapy and seemed to be doing well. A couple of months ago she was running a fever so we took her to the vet. X-rays showed a metastasis in her lungs and her sternum. She was given two months. We heard of a study being done at Missouri U. and went for that. Yesterday she didn't want to eat or drink and when she got up she was very shaky in the legs. We took her to the vet who took x-rays of her chest. It's the worst. Instead of shrinking, the tumor has overtaken her lungs. There is hardly any room for her to breathe and her trachea is being pushed towards her spine. I'm afraid that there is only one alternative left and that is to help her along to the Bridge. This may happen Monday. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers."
I know heartbreaking, Lucky is a wonderful girl and will be missed more than words if she does have to travel to the rainbow bridge.A kind pup named Sarge started a stroll and a candle light group for her.

The weather was wonderful yesterday! But sadly yesterday our dogster plus expired. :( Our great buddy Spike gave us dogster plus last year! Yes we are still in shock of his kindess :D Thank you Spikey Spike.We had the best year ever in the plus forums.We were able to learn alot, spread much information about Golden Retriever Rescue (GRR!). And I was able to get information and more than enough support when I went through some of the darkest moments of my life, Cancer. I have gotten it several times and don't think i would be here without the beloved support given.
Well Must go and play in the yucky weather cold,rainy WET! Bleck.
