hey everyone, its me hercules, things have been very different at our house the last few days because mom and dad had to get a new puppy, yuck. i dont know if i want to play with him or bite him. he is taking all my toys, he poops all over the kitchen at night, mom tries to put him in that cage thing, but the little guy screams like he is crazy and wakes everyone in the house. all i know is i dont like new puppies!
today has been a great day, i got to play outside in the yard all day long. i dug so many holes that my feet hurt. i put them everywhere. hope dad isnt mad when he tries to cut the grass! my brother thor is feeling a little better, but mom still wont let him outside to play with us. we have to go outside and potty alone because if we all go out together then we will run and play and chase birds and squirrels. boy that sure sounds like fun. ellie and i chased a groundhog under the house this morning and now it is trapped. our dad is going to have to get it out. i am small enough that i can get under there and get it, but my mom is having a fit cause she thinks i will get hurt. she says that groundhogs are pretty mean when cornered. she also says that i will destroy the water pipes and make a big mess so she blocked off the hole to keep me out. i could dig under there if i really wanted to. ellie couldnt even fit her big head in the hole. she wants to be a little dog like me really bad. she would love to crawl under the fence and visit all the neighborhood dogs like i do. but if she dug a hole big enough for her to go under the fence mom and dad would be so mad. she is like a bulldozer when she digs. she likes to help me out. we hide our meaty bones in the holes and then she lays on them to keep everyone away. we have a lot of fun together out in the back yard. it was a good day today. bye bye for now hercules
hey everybody. its me hercules. life is great here in my backyard. today i dug a hole under the fence and chased the squirrels away for the big dogs. they love it when i do that. i ran all around and visited all the neighborhood dogs before mom realized what i had done and made me come inside the house. i like to dig. i dig big holes, little holes, all types of holes everywhere in the yard. sometimes i get ellie to help me she is like a huge bulldozer. she can move some dirt i tell you what. mom and dad don't like it when we dig in the yard cause when it rains it fills up with water and attracts the bugs that bite! we don't like those around here . my big brother thor has the heartworms. ellie and i tested negative. mom and dad were glad about that. i hope thor is okay. he has to get his big treatment in a couple of days and i am worried about him. mom and dad are ready to spoil him, he even gets to sleep with them while he is getting better. no fair. i sleep with my kid, but sleeping with mom and dad is better. i gotta go i am going for a walk with ellie and my kids. i cant hardly wait. maybe i will get loose!!!!! bye bye for now.
