 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: July 10th 2004
Likes: Food, sitting on anyones lap, attention, Going bye bye in the car, his people, anyone who loves him, going to the mailbox, going for a walk, going anywhere. Other dogs, especially Stella the pug. If I say her name he runs to the door and starts snorting.

Pet-Peeves: Baths, being alone, everyone leaving when he doesn't get to come.

Favorite Toy: Anything with a nose to chew off because he doesn't have one. Treat ball. Toddler popping vacuum that he pushes around making the balls pop and chewing on the handle.

Favorite Food: Cheese. Louie will eat anything, including rocks and paper. Yogurt, milk, bites of popsicles or ice cream.

Favorite Walk: Walking trails in our neighborhood. If we are just walking around houses and we go near the road leading to the trails he puts his head down and pulls you as hard as you can in that direction. Any walk that he see's other dogs.

Best Tricks: Talking. If you hold him back from getting to another dog he talks. It sounds like a screaming, "Please let me see the dog." His bark is completely different. Working the eyes...gets Mommy every time. Making everyone around him happy.

Arrival Story: My daugter was 10 and my son was 6 when we were lucky enough to have Louie bless our lives. They begged my husband for years and every night my daughter and I looked at pictures of dogs on line. I ran across his picture and fell in love with his cute little face immediately. I printed out his picture and showed my daughter. She fell in love as well and said, "He is the one, I just know it." My husband was on a business trip and while on the phone I brought up the dog thing for the millionth time. He said, "Maybe we should get a dog." As soon as I hung up the phone I was calling the breeder. Louie was lined up to go to a show home so he could stay intact for breeding. I said we were already in love with him and if he let us have him I would let him maintain breeding rights, but was not at all interested in showing him. We just wanted to love him and thought he was so adorable we just couldn't stand it. I was holding the printed out picture of him as the breeder said OK and I felt myself fall more in love. I thought I should think of a clever way to tell the kids but lasted about 30 seconds after my daughter got in the car. As soon as I told her she burst into tears of joy. I happen to have a camera in the car so I snapped a picture of her holding his picture with tears running down her face. The day we got him we wore the poor little guy out. Four years later, you would think he was a brand new baby. We are infatuated with him and all day long someone is saying, "Look at Louie." "Now look at Louie." "Look at him now." "Isn't he cute." He is the love of our lives and every time I look in those big eyes, my heart skips a beat.
