My friends Bella & Alexandria tagged me! They told me 7 things about themselves so I'll tell 7 things about myself. Then they tagged 7 pals and they were supposed to do the same. So I'll tag 7 pups.

1. When I go potty, I do a complete handstand so I don't get cold & wet from the grass.

2. Mommy taught me how to sing so whenever she comes home, I sit on the back of the chair & howl.

3. I run to Mommy to put my coat on me. Daddy don't do it right! hehe!

4. I love my squeaky little tennis ball! When it goes underneath the couch I have Mommy get the flashlight & the long shoehorn to get it for me. We have so much fun!

5. I sleep under the covers with Mommy. (even when it's warm outside)

6. I love to decorate the furniture & floor with my artistic paws...especialally during MUD season!

7. I also like to re-arrange my hidden treats from inside Mommy's shoes to inside the dirty clothesbasket or anywhere away from Buddy!

I am named after my big brother, SPOOK, who is now at- Rainbow Bridge!

On June 25th, 2005, my Mommy had to take her old dog of 17 1/2 years to the vet to put him to sleep. It was the hardest thing she's ever had to do!! SPOOK was not sick...he was just OLD & tired! His quality of life was gone...so she did what she had to do. (as a favor to him)

She brought him back home and buried him underneath her bedroom window so he would always be near! She told SPOOK "good night" when she went to bed that night and at the exact same time she said that...a firefly (lightning bug) flew on her bedroom screen window and lit up as if it were "SPOOK" saying "I'm OK now and things will be alright!"

She knew right then she was going to name her next dog (whenever she felt the time was right) FIREFLY or JUNEBUG...since it happened in June.

And that's how I got my name. Mommy had my name picked out 6 months before I was even born!! She hasn't had a female dog since the 60's, but in my case, she wanted a girl dog just so she could name her JUNEBUG. After hearing all the stories Mommy tells me about SPOOK, I think I have some pretty big shoes (paws) to fill!!

She never believed in that kind of stuff before until then, but she sure does now! SPOOK still gives her some sort of sign that he's still around watching over us, every now & then. And she still sees SPOOK in cloud formations. Silly?? Some people may even think it's kinda "SPOOKY"!
