Likes:
I love seeing my brother Leo. We were resucued at the same time and my aunt JuJu takes care of him. I am so happy when he comes over!

Pet-Peeves:
I don't like big dogs. I try to take them on at Petsmart but mommy doesn't let me. I also HATE being alone! Not even for a minute.

Favorite Toy:
I love my gator and my Ty red bull. I'll howl and woo and beg for them!

Favorite Food:
I love people food but mommy doesn't let me have it. It's Science Diet light small chunk for now.

Favorite Walk:
I love walking down the street to Tonopah Drive! All Mommy has to say is "You wanna go to Tonopah?" and I go nuts!

Best Tricks:
I speak, woo woo, and sit on command.

Arrival Story:
My husband said for a few years that we shouldn't get a dog. One day he was having dental surgery I went over to PetSmart to kill some time (even though I had no pets LOL) and there they were.....the perfect dogs....Lucy and Leo! The rescue working out of PetSmart that day was H.A.L.O (Helping Animals Live On) a nonprofit rescue out of Phoenix, AZ. Lucy and her brother Leo (who my sister adopted) were used in backyard breeding. They were both kept outside in the cold of winter and tied to a tree in a South Phoenix yard. The dogs were so mistreated that the neighbor turned them in to HALO. They were surrendered by their previous owner. Lucy was so matted and disheveled that H.A.L.O. had her groomed. She was so scared when we brought her home. After having her home for a few weeks she still didn't have any idea how to play with pet toys. Now that we've had her for a year and a half she has flourished! She loves toys, people (to a fault, actually!), and is the best little friend I could ever have. We have no regrets, and my husband adores her! Also, please don't buy dogs from pet stores. Please visit www.petfinder.com to rescue a homeless pet.
