Belle is a Liver and tan Heeler which is a little rarer still as both parents have to carry the gene. She is a wonderful dog and loves everybody she meets, she is also shown and went to Crufts 2006. I think shes superb but I am bias !!

Well I made it into the dogster website and now have my own profile. Already I have a few doggie buddies and 3 bones which is welcoming for a new girl from Lancashire England. I don't know if I am proud or disappointed to be the first Lancashire Heeler on here but anyways I am so will have to work hard at promoting my breed. I actually live with a few other Lancashire Heelers theres Dixie, Kim, Peggy,Jeanie, Kristen, Bryn (My son) Dolly, Lady, Arnold, Olive, Kallie, Gareth and last but not least Floyd. Yep that's right 14 of us, we live in the countryside so get loads of exercise and our mum loves us all equally. She bred me and my mum and dad lived here with us but dad's retired now and lives in a retirement home in Scotland and mum went on holiday to Sweden and became a Swedish champion and never returned but she keeps in touch. I had 3 puppies myself this summer my son Bryn stayed with me hes just so cute, one of my daughters Hotpot Georgia Brown has gone to live in Finland and another daughter is with a human family in England. Us Heelers are becoming part of the jet set. We were once known as the black and tans (farm dogs) We have come along way. Oh wasn't going to mention this but they called them the black and tans because it is thought years ago the farmers got rid of the livers like myself,, But now people like my mum see how beautiful my colour is and I am sort after world wide.. Thank heavens..I'm staying firmly in Lancashire with my mum some other Heeler can have the jet setting life its not for me .. A liver and tan half sister of mine has flown the nest and lives in Norway and her brother my half brother Barry lives in Sweden. We Lancashire Heelers all used to reside around the farms and villages of Lancashire not anymore. I do so hope we don't lose our traits along the way we really are lovable but gutzy little dogs we actually think we are bigger than we are. We had to when herding the cattle. We would nip their heels if they started to wander. Anyway enough of the past, I just thought I would clear up WHAT i AM from the beginning. Nice to be here..
