You are not forgotten

Today marks 8 years ago that I had to say goodbye to you. You will always be in my heart Maggie. I miss you so much.

Your birthday is today.

Today is the day that we celebrated your birthday. I think of you often and I miss you so much. It broke my heart the day I had to say good bye to you, but I did not want you to suffer any more. You will always have a special place in my heart.

Today I was thinking about you.

Maggie, yesterday was the anniversary of the day you went to the bridge on February 5, 2003. I have been thinking about you lots. I remember all the good time we had together and I miss you much sweet girl. The day you died broke my heart, but I know it was the right thing to do. You needed surgery and the doctor said you could not survive the surgery. I loved you so much.

1. I was blind in one eye, but I still could get around good. When my other eye was going bad, I started to have some problems outside, but I did ok in the house as long as the furniture was not moved around.

2. I would go for walks, but only on dry flat ground, otherwise I wanted mommy to pick me up and carry me.

3. I was a true lap dog, I loved sitting in mommy's lap and I would stay there as much as I can.

4. I loved to eat small Milk Bones.

5. I did not like to go to the groomers and vet. I would hide when I thought it was time for both.

6. I loved to sleep in the bed with mommy.

7. I loved cheese.

OK now you know more stuff about me.

I was going to try to find 7 pals, but all my pals have been recently tagged and some of them more than one time recently. I will try to keep looking for one that has not been tagged.

Today is my birthday

Mommy does not know the actual date of my birthday so when she got me she picked a date to celebrate my special day. I got lots of love from my pals from Dogster and it help mommy feel better about today.

I missed your birthday

Maggie, I did want to say I love you with all my heart. I think of you often. I have many fond memories of you. My life was so bless to have you in my life.

I did not know your actual birthday, so I used January 1, as the day I celebrated your speical day.

Adoption gave me another chance.

I have been adopted twice that my mommy knows about for sure. She found out from the rescue center that I might have been in couple of other families temporarily.

The owners before my mommy adopted only had me a short time. I was blind in one eye and my good eye needed expensive medicine everyday. Mommy got the impression that they did not want me.

Well they asked my mommy if she could take me. She welcomed me with open arms. She did not mind having a dog that was blind. The vet estimated my age at about seven. She took care of my bad eye until the day I died. Mommy had me for another 7 years. I had a great life. I was a happy and spoiled lap dog.

Birthday today

Today is the day that we celebrated your birthday. Nobody knows when you birthday was, but the vet estimated your age when I got you so I gave you January 1 as your birthday. I wanted a day each year that could celebrate your special day. I will never forget you Maggie, and I though of all the good times that we had together today. You will always be my precious little girl

You received many presents and birthday wishes today from your Dogster pals and friends. You are forever in our hearts.

Tribute to Maggie

Maggie, you were the only dog that I did not raise from a puppy. You were already a grown dog when I got you. The vet estimated your age at about seven. You were also my first female dog that I had. Up to the time I got you, I only had male dogs.

One of co-workers was moving and did not want to take you with them. You were blind in your right eye and the medicine that you needed was very expensive, and I don’t think your old owners could afford it. You were scared to death of storm and you required some medicine to help you though the storms.

I fell in love with you the first time I saw you. You were well behaved and obviously had obedience training sometime in your life. You were always so sweet and had a great personality. I got to keep you for about seven years. I don’t know how old you really were, but I hope the last seven years of your life were greatest ones.

Almost four years ago, you needed some surgery and the vet did not think you would make it though the surgery. You were very sick little girl. The Vet wanted me to put you asleep. I cried for days after you went to sleep. I think of you often.
