Arrival Story:
he was a rescue dog that had been placed in homes several times but always was returned due to him snapping at people especially if he was in his crate or someone tried to grab him by his collar...we were actually at the shelter adopting our dog Gibson when Pumpkin jumped on my daughter's lap and just laid his head on her shoulder. It was love at first sight! We didn't take him home that day but two weeks later the rescue called and asked if we would like to take him home on a trial basis to see how he might fit in. Since my daughter already had a Pom, we said we would give him a chance. That was two and a half years ago and after several months of my daughter keeping him on a leash every minute he was not in his crate, he has become a wonderful addition to our household and he and Buster are great friends too!
