Arrival Story:
Our family wanted a pet. Most notably a dog, we looked in the newspaper one weekend and saw that someone was advertising that they had German Shepherd-Collie Cross puppies to give away. While out doing some shopping we dropped by the peoples home and checked out the dogs. My husband and my son seemed not to make any decision on which pup they wanted. There was one pup that caught my attention because of the stripe down her nose. Eventually I chose her and named her Chelsea.

Bio:
Chelsea's demise came about because due to her age (14.5 yrs.) she developed arthritis in her joints and spine. At the end her arthritis was so severe she could no longer walk. Added to this was the hip dysplasia she also had. Her mind was still sharp till the end, she protected our family and warned us of any intruders. She was extremely intelligent and loved to please us. We were very happy with her. She is dearly missed and I think of her every day.
