Birthday: May 11th 2005 Likes: Running around outside, Playing with any toy that squeeks Pet-Peeves: Not being able to jump the fence anymore to play with neighbors dogs Favorite Toy: A toy squirrel that squeeks Favorite Food: Whatever the kids give her or the bones with meat in the middle Favorite Walk: Anywhere Best Tricks: roll over, sit, lay down, come here,stay, go home (neighbors taught her that one when she would get out of the fence), pull, bring it, drop it Arrival Story: We were looking for another dog for protection when our german shepard Cry Baby died of a snake bite. We didnt want a reg. german shepard because Cry Baby was different than most so we finally found a breeder who said she had one that was mostly white but was the only one in the litter that looked that way. She tried to discourage us from getting her because of her colors but that is why we wanted her so much. Her mom was a pure white akc german shepard and her dad was an akc blk and tan german shepard. Bio: Casey loves to play. She doesnt care to be inside unless the weather is bad. When she was about 9 months she figured out that she could jump the 4 1/2 foot fence with no problem and started visiting our neighbors dogs. Our neighbor didnt care but I didnt want her to get hurt going somewhere else so she now has an electric fence and cannot leave the yard but not for lack of trying. She is super smart and very good. I can leave my front door wide open and she will not go out unless told. She likes to fetch and will not pull unless you give her the pull command. She does not bark unless outside and sees something that makes her uncomfortable (like another dog in the front yard. She doesn't bark in the house but instead with give a little growl or whine to let us know she hears something. Forums Motto: Ready to play? He is currently waiting to have his second heart operation. We really hoping he gets his surgery soon and makes a quick recovery.
Never guess what I did. I laid next to the rat cage and my ear was leaning against their cage. Well they must not have liked that because the next thing I knew OUCHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! they bit my ear. It was bleeding pretty good and I shook my head as mom was getting the napkin to hold on my ear and blood when flying every where.
Momma says after what happend last time with me being attacked I'm just an accident waiting to happen.
I'm feeling so much better now. Mom says to look at me you wouldn't know I was hurt as bad as I was until I try to lay down. I still have some pain when I try to lay down from the cut under my arm.
I have to take pills and I really dont like them. I usually am a good dog and will swallow them but I'm tired of medicine (ITS YUCKY!) To make me feel better after I take them I get one of my favorite treats......Candy Canes. It is one of my most favorite things about Christmas time and the month after is having these great treats. It really helps get the taste of medicine out of my mouth.
I'm going to go nap on the kids beds while they are at school. Momma says I'm wearing a dent right in the center of each of their beds. I told her if she would just let me lay on her bed that wouldn't happen ;)
