Busted

I guess I have been doing too much on my hind legs so now I have to stay in the crate when I am not outside with mommy on the lead. I guess counter surfing the wrong thing to do. Yep, I just could not help myself.

I went home from the hospital today.

I had big surprise today; some of my Dogster pals came and saw me after I was discharged from the hospital. Cokie, Molly, Sassy Girl, Dallas, and their moms. We had great visit and mommy took lots of pictures. Mommy posted some of them on my page. I did not I sleep during the car ride home, but I slept a lot after I got home.

I have to take it easy for awhile and I have lots of new medicine to take for the next few days.

I had my surgery today in OKC

I was a good girl in the car going to the clinic, I sort of freaked out near OKC with all that traffic. The doctor told mommy that the tear was worst than they thought. The tear was almost complete so it was a good thing that mommy had it done. I have to stay the night and mommy is picking me up in the morning.

I am having surgery today!

Mommy is driving me to OKC for my surgery today. I am having my anterior cruciate ligament repaired on my hind left leg. I hate long car rides and mommy can't give me anything to calm me during the trip.

I had some medical test today.

I had a medical procedure today to find out why I am limping. The doctor had to put me asleep to do the test. The doctor told mommy that I have a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL). It is in both of my hind legs, but my left knee is in worse shape than my right knee. I will have to have surgery in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma very soon. It takes about 2 hours to drive there and I hate car rides.

The vet said that Labrador retrievers are one breed that has a higher incidence of this type of injury especially if they overweight like me.

The vet tested me for thyroid problems too. I have been on restricted diet for some time and I have not lost any weight.

The results of the blood test will be in on Wednesday and the date of my surgery will be set at that time. The vet wants me to lose weight.

I am happy now!

Mommy bought me a new bandanna and she knows how much I love them. Well as soon as she took it out of the bag I ran over to her. I could not wait until she put it on me.

I am so mad!

Today I wanted to go outside and play, but mommy will not let me. I used all my weight to keep from going into the house. I am a big girl and mommy cannot carry me, but she finally got me in the house and what a fight it was. I am now sitting on my bed giving her my look. She knows I am mad at her. She tried to give me some snacks, but I just give her my look. (I did finally eat the snack after mommy left the room)

I had to go to the doctor today

I started to limp worst and mommy took me to the doctor. I had some x-rays, and I don’t have arthritis or nothing broken. The vet thinks I may have a torn ligament. If it not better in few weeks I may need surgery. I have to take some new medicine for a few weeks and I am not allowed to run and jump. I can only go outside to take care of business.

I left my usually mess on the floor, BOL.

I was a bad girl today.

It was been awhile since I updated my diary. Mommy thinks she figured out what keeps causing me to have problems with my legs. She noticed that I take flying leaps off the deck instead of using the stairs. I am still taking medicine for my limping. I would get better and than all at once have a relapse.

Mommy is going to have somebody close up the gaps around the railing on the deck.

I was kind of a bad girl today. Mommy is so mad at me. I keep bullying Charlie and Toto. She had to put me in the corner a few times today. At least when she says go to your corner, I know what she means. I keep giving her my sad eyes so she will let me out sooner instead of later.
