Today is your Gotcha Day!

Today is a bittersweet day for me. I had to say good bye to Teddy on the same day. While I was burying Teddy one of my neighbors stopped by the house and told me he had puppies that were old enough to adopt. I almost said no, but I am so happy that you came into my life. You bring so much happiness into my life every day. I can't image my life without you. You are getting old and I know my days with you are numbered and that is breaking my heart. I cherish each day I have with you. Love you always Charlie, love mommy.

I am so happy to be selected.

Today I am getting groomed and I am not very happy about that. At least I love to take a walk after my grooming. The groomer is going to cut me extra short since I am not liking being touched as much any more. The groomer said older dogs often get very sensitive to touching.

I had to go the vet today!

I have a urinary tract infections and I have to take antibiotics. Mommy puts the pills in my favorite food (peanut butter).

I want to thank all our pals for the Easter eggs for our page. It will take some time to go through all our presents and messages on our pages. Hope everybody had a wonderful Easter. Hope we send all our pals a present too. Sometime it is hard to tell if we got everybody. Wish it was easier to send presents to all the pals instead of having to go each page separately.

Happy Birthday Charlie

Today I celebrate your 16th birthday. I don't know your true birthday, but it is close. I am so glad you were born so I could adopt you in April. I love you so much Charlie. Love you always. Love mommy.

Thanks for the boxes of candy

It will take us awhile to go through all the presents between the seven of us in the family. Mommy had an eye exam today so her eyes are still dilated making it hard to read. She had to go out of town on Friday too. We appreciate all our pals. We hope we sent all our pals a box of treats too. Mommy was kind of blind she is not for sure she got everybody. If you did not get one, please don't feel slighted. We love all our pals.

I got my stitches out today!

The vet was happy that I did not lick or chew on my incision area. He had no problems getting the stitches out.

I am feeling better

I slept a lot this morning, but this afternoon I was more active. I am still not eating normally, but I am eating some food. So far mommy has not had to put a cone one me, but she has one handy to put on me in case I start to bother my incision sites.
