Arrival Story:
One of my neighbors had puppies and he noticed that I was burying one of my dogs (Teddy). He asked if I wanted on of his puppies and I just could not resist Charlie's smile. Charlie would often escape from the yard and run home to his dog mommy and I would have to walk down to pick him up. I just found an old diary with the exact date I received Charlie which is April 15, 1997. He was six weeks old so the date I have for his birthday is wrong by two weeks. His birthday is probably closer to March 1 instead of March 15, the date I have celebrated for almost 14 years. Since so many groups has his birthday as March 15 and that is the date I have celebrated for over 13 years I am going to keep the March 15 as his birthday.
