Arrival Story:
She was an "impulse buy" at a local pet store by a friend of mine (don't get me started on pet stores and puppy mills) -- anyway, it didn't work out for him and she needed a permanent home. I had been hunting around the local shelters for a dog for several months at that point. He brought her over - she was a 12 week old chubby little snausage at that point. It was love at first sight for both of us. She has had me wrapped around her paw since I got her! And she knows it, too!

Bio:
Molly worshiped her older sister, Dink. Molly did not like being a single dog, so I adopted an older sister for her. They were two peas in a pod since the day they met. Molly was very gentle and sweet, but she did exhibit typical Dachshund behaviors, like being willful ("I WILL NOT do want you want me to do, mommy!"). Molly left us in November 2010 - she had a tumor in her adrenal gland. Her sister Dink and her mommy miss her very, very much. Molly will never be forgotten.
