Season changesSeptember 6th 2011 8:43 pm[ Leave A Comment | 7 people already have ] Buddy,It was cool this morning! The season is changing. The season of cuddles on the recliner under a blanket is almost here. My Buddy will not be here with me to cuddle this season and that thought makes me profoundly sad. I should have adjusted to your being gone by now but I have not. I think about you very often and I wonder if you see what is going on in your home. Bella's ears are bothering her yet again. Your baby Heidi is doing fine and is still the baby here though she is not a puppy anymore. We do have a puppy now. She's very tiny and I know you would love her and take care of her the way you did Heidi. I'm doing my best and her mother is here so she is safe and cared for. I miss you Buddy. Sometimes I look around in the yard at your favorite spot. The spot where you liked to lay in the sun. I can see you there in my mind and my heart aches because I can't reach out and touch you. I miss you so much. I miss you every day and I hold your memories in my heart.
Leave A Comment | 7 people already have Hi Buddy: We just wanted to stop by and tell you how your mom’s diary entry really tugged at our mom’s heart. So many losses in our lives have left mommy often feeling the same way your mommy does. Her reference to season’s changing hit home with mom because ever time fall/winter approached she misses Groucho Marx so very much. He was such a cuddle bunny but, cuddled most in the winter. The recliner under a blanket comment made mommy think of our living one, Tina…she is a whippet mix and when we first adopted her we had no idea the breed did not handle cold weather very well. We learned quickly when Tina was laying in bed with mom one day and mom felt the bed shaking…from Tina shivering. Mom immediately researched the breed and learned they needed blankets, etc and she purchased same. I hope your mommy knows you are seeing what is going on in your home. You know Bella's ears are bothering her again. You know your baby Heidi is doing fine and is not a puppy anymore. You know about the tiny, new baby in the home and YES…You already love her!! Most of all, you know mommy misses you Buddy. When she looks around for you in your favorite spot, you are there in spirit You are still laying in the sun. We pray your mommy’s heat aches less but, then again, my mommy cries on a regular basis…though less each year. You are always in our minds! LOVE & HUGS! Thank you Austin and your mom for the comment. With all this fur and paws you would think that loosing one would not be so hard. It is. He just moved into my heart the day we met and he still lives on in my heart.
