The Pet hotel!!!

Deuce and I are sooooo excited!! Mom and dad got coupons for the new Petsmart Hotel!! Mom said we get to play with other dogs and we might even get a special treat!!!! Only 3 more days!!! Hope all is well and everyone has a merry christmas!!!!

The Groomers....

So mom and dad woke me and Deucers up extra early today and they asked if we were ready to go to the groomers.....I had no idea what the groomers were but I was excited! So we got to the place and they were super nice at first. They gave me treats and love and then it got worse....

First they put me in a crate and they grabbed Deuce first. I heard the word bath and that is when I started to get nervous. I heard Deuce whining and I thought oh no they are torturing him so then I got really nervous! After they gave him a bath they took him into a new room and then they said it was my turn!!! All I am going to say is I would rather smell like Deuce's poo then go through that again!!!!

After the bath they brought me into the same room that Deuce was in and I felt better knowing that Deuce was still alive!! They cleaned my ears and clipped my toenails and they sprayed yummy cologne on Deuce and really pretty perfume on me...I felt like such a princess! They even painted my nails purple!!! Dad was not impressed but mom sure loved it!!!

All and all it wasn't horrible, but it is not my idea of fun! Mom said we don't have to go back for awhile as long as we don't roll around in smelly stuff (she just doesn't understand how fun it is!!!).

Graduation!!!

So big news everypup!!! I GRADUATED!!! Dad even had the night off so he could come!!!! So the first thing Julia (the trainer) asked us to do was to do a sit/stay and then mom and dad had to walk away about 5 feet. I sat there really nice until Julia pulled out a ball and started bouncing it!!! It was torture I tell you!!!! Julia only got to bounce it twice before I grabbed it....I just had too!! Mom was a little upset but she doesn't understand how hard it was!!! Dad was cool though he just laughed.....mom didn't like that either!!!! Then we decided to try it again and I stayed!! Everyone was sooo proud!!! The second thing we had to do was heel, and I did it perfect!!! Then we did heel in figure eights which I needed about 5 minutes before I could do perfectly. After heeling we had to come with a distraction....that was tough. First Julia had other dogs from the store stand in our way so we had to go around them...I did that ok, but then she really tortured us!!! She put a line of treats and toys in a row across the whole room so we had no other choice but to go over it.....I did it perfectly on the second time!!!! So the big time came to see if I was going to graduate and we were all nervous but of course I passed!!!! It was soo exciting I got my picture up on the board, and a big bone!!! Mom and dad gave me lots of kisses and treats it was sooo much fun!!

Now Deuce gets to start class on the 12th so make sure you all stop by and wish him luck!!!!

Graduation tomorrow!!!

So tomorrow is the big day!!! Mom and I have been working really hard so I can graduate from my intermediate class tomorrow!! Cross your paws everypup!!!!

Twice in one week!!!!

So mom and dad had the day off yesterday and since it was such a perfect day Deuce and I got to go to the dog park AGAIN!! That is twice in one week!!! We had soo much fun!! There was another Boston there and his name was Niko! I got to run with him a lot, but he didn't like to share his toys. Mom didn't know so she went to grab a tennis ball that was on the ground by him and he bit her!! Good thing the hospital where she works was right down the road. She left me, Deuce and dad at the park so she could go get cleaned up (don't worry all she needed was some soap and a band-aid). We stayed there for 2 hours, and we would have stayed longer but it was dinnertime and we were all hungry!! After dinner Deuce and I were laying on the ground and playing tug-of-war with the rope. I guess we were tired because we fell asleep with the rope in our mouths!! Mom and dad got a good laugh!!! Later!!

ps - I went to the vet last week and I weigh 15.3 pounds!!! Mom and dad couldn't believe it!! I gained 13 pounds in 7 months!!!!

Dog Park!!

Hey everypup!! I got to go to the Dog Park yesterday and as always I had sooo much fun!!! It was my brother's first time since he became my brother, and he did soo well!! He made lots of new friends and he got to meet Niam who is one of my best friends!! She is a beautiful White German Shepherd and her mom is my trainer!!! We stayed for about 2 hours and then it started to get too hot so mom and dad took us home and we slept all day!!!! I am really glad Deuce had a good time and I can't wait for the next time we get to go!!

My new Brother Deuce!!

Hey everypup guess what?? I got a new brother and his name is Deuce!! He is a 1.5 year old Boston Terrier and he is super cool!! His owners gave him up because they said he wasn't house broken but he hasn't had one accident yet!! I kinda wished he wanted to play with me some more, but mom said just give him time because he is probably a little scared. Mom and dad have never rescued a dog before, so any of yous out there that have adopted beforeand could give us some pointers would be great!! He is also a little toy aggressive, Mom and dad are kinda scared about that, but we are all gonna help him get better, so he doesn't growl and snap at us when we try to take his toys...so if any of you out there that have dealt with a toy aggressive dog and could give us some hints that would be fantastic!!! I love the sunshine!!

Hey everypup!!! So I am loving this warm weather!!! Mom and dad opened the slider for me so I could get some sun on the deck. My cat sister Nala was very jealous...haha!!! Mom and dad are also taking me on walks almost everyday (mom and dad can be very lazy I need to get them into shape!!) but I love walks!! And then the dog park, let me tell you all that it is a lot more fun to go to the dog park when the weather is warm!! Mommy let me play with the big dogs on Sunday and all the other humans were very impressed, they kept saying that I was tough, mom and dad taught me well!!! Well I am off to go get some more sun...later!!
