Birdies and Squirrlies

I LOVE birdies and squirrelies! Recently, Mommy even brought home two parakeets for me. She tries to say they are family pets and not for me, but I know better. Sometimes I sit for hours just staring at them and wait for them to come to me. Mommy opens there cage each night to feed, water, and play with them. I know when she does this and I run as fast as I can to try to run up the wall. I just want to reach them! One flew out of its cage recently and I managed to catch it! Even though I didn't hurt her, Mommy puts me in my room when she does stuff with their cage so I don't hurt them. :(

At least I get to chase squirrels outside. I have treed many squirrels in my short life. Mommy put me up in a tree once with my little stuff squirrel for some pictures (check them out on my Dogster site). I was a little scared but liked being closer to my birdies and squirrelies.

My Name is Pippi

Hi Everyone! My name is Pippi, and I am a Chihuahua/Toy Fox Terrier mix. I came from a pet store. My Mommy does not believe in buying animals from pet stores because most animals come from backyard breeders. Well, she was in there one day to pick up some pet supplies and overheard a lady in the puppy room talking about purchasing me. This woman was a breeder and was planning on using me to breed more pups! I was so scared that I would live my life having babies in a bad home. My Mommy broke her rule about pet stores and stepped in to buy me. I was saved! I was not in great shape though. I had worms, was taken from my dog mommy way to early, and was in desperate need of a bath. My Mommy did report the pet store to the local animal authorities though, and it has since been shut down! I love my life now though. I get spoiled rotten by my Mommy and have everything a little pup could ask for.

I am a freeze baby though! My favorite thing to do is curl up under a blanket with my Mommy when she is watching TV. She calls me her little hot water bottle. I also know what it sounds like when the heat comes on. I immediately run to the nearest vent and curl up there until it turns off. My Mommy keeps me dressed in warm sweaters too. I like staying warm, but I love chewing on the sweaters even more. My Mommy has to keep a close eye on me, because I have destroyed so many clothes. I just can't help it.

I love when my Mommy comes home too. I greet her at the door and wag my tail so hard, my whole butt wiggles!
