We got Shelby from a family who, at the time, didn't think they were ready for an additional dog. She was supposed to be for the BF's mother, but first she didn't know if she was small enough, then she changed her mind all together and decided she wanted a big dog, and she was going to keep her outside, so we said, nope, she's staying.
