Arrival Story:
Ume was a stray dog who was picked up by the Stark County dog warden. She was pulled by Animal Welfare Society of Southeastern Michigan and put into our home as a foster dog.

Bio:
Her name, Ume, means plum blossom in Japanese and the plum blossom symbolizes devotion. This name was chosen for her because she is very devoted to "her people" -- once she's chosen who they are.
