Bradley Shamus! She loves her dog brother!
Kitties that buzz her and are bad while she has to be good and STAY. Having to stop attacking her brother for a 5 minute time out.
BALLS! No, wait! BONIES! No, wait! RUBBER ROLY POLY! No, wait...pretty much whatever toy is in front of her at the moment, particularly if her brother's tugging on the other end of it.
CHICKENS!!!! "Chickens" are the dehydrated, cage-free chicken breast strips by Dogswell - we get the "Mellow Mutt" variety.
She LOVES romping along the lake shores!!!
Uhm...she can sit, and she can shake. She can mostly roll over (though sometimes she just thrashes around on her back). She can jump really high and pretend she's gonna catch a ball (which she usually misses).
I do a little volunteer work for a nearby municipal shelter. I was at an adoption outreach in August 2006, and I was not immediately fond of Abbie (who I had named Pogo earlier that day, because she never had all four feet on the ground). Because I wasn't worried about having to close my heart to that one, I was quite surprised, as the day wore on, to find that no one was "good enough" to adopt her anymore. I realized I was in too deep already, called my hubby, and Abbie came home with ME that afternoon.
Abbie is totally in love with water. We have a boat, and she LOVES to romp along the shores of the lake. She never met a mud puddle that didn't call her name, and even the water bucket at the dog park can become a personal swimming pool if you give her three seconds near it without supervision.
I licks faster than Mom blinks!!!!

Mommy said I should tell you all about me.
I don't remember too far back. I used to not have a home, though. Mean scary guy caught me and took me to a not-very-nice dog hotel. Everyone there was barking a lot. They made an owie on my tummy, and I was scared and kinda confused.
After a couple of days, a very special morning came. A nice lady came and looked me over. She took me out to potty and said it was a special day. I jumped around a LOT...I was SOOOOO excited, and the lady laughed, said I was a hi-purr more-on, whatever that means. She named me Pogo, because I was so bouncy.
That lady met up with some other nice ladies, and I was kinda scared when they put me in a box in a car and we left the doggy hotel. We got to a place the lady called petzmart, and she said I would find a home (I didn't know what a "home" was then, though!). The lady gave me treats, and lots of people came by just to see me!
The lady said we were going outside-potty, so I walked out with her. I heard her talking, but I didn't see anyone there. I heard her ask someone if they would dee-vorce her if she took a doggy home, and then the lady seemed REALLY happy!
We went back inside, and the other nice ladies cheered! The nice lady was crying, though. We walked all over the petzmart, and the lady bought some doggy toys and stuff.
We left. I was SO SCARED when we got back to the doggy hotel! I didn't want to stay there anymore!
But the nice lady said I would never have to go back there again. She said I had to "wait in the car," and that she would come back for me. I wasn't in the box this time, I rode in the front seat like a people instead. She said I was SPECIAL, that she was my new MOMMY, and that we were going to a place called home where I would meet a Daddy and some brothers and a sister.
Now I know what a home is! That's where a doggy lives with its kitties, and its mommy, and its daddy! That's where a doggy keeps all of its toys ('cept for the toys a doggy takes with her to the dog park to share with friends)! And that's where a doggy's bed is! And when Daddy met me, he said she's too special to be a Pogo, and now they call me Abbie. I think that means "special girl dog."
I love home!
And now, since I'm so special, Mommy said we'd make a dogster page, to show everyone what a cutie pie I am (even if I don't always behave...but I do try!).
