Arrival Story:
A mere two months after Aaron and Kyla moved in together, we began contacting breeders in search of "the one". After much research involving looking for the cutest puppy in the world, we decided on Judi Ford of Ramblin Goldens fame. One early Saturday morning in January, the phone rang and we were greeted with the news that a new litter of puppies had arrived the night before, January 27th. We were ecstatic, and so began the countdown to take the puppy home. When the puppies were 4 weeks old, Aaron and Kyla took a trip up to Southampton to visit Judi and pick out our new little bundle of joy. The day didn't turn out as originally planned, however. When greeted with the cutest puppies in the world, it is virtually impossible to choose just one. Since we are not Oprah, we decided to wait and see how their personalities developed before we confirmed our choice. Light purple, "the marshmallow", was the first puppy we greeted that day though, and she was always in the back of our minds. The week before we took the puppy home, we vacationed in Florida. In Florida, we happened to discuss the puppies on occasion, and ultimately decided that Light Purple was "the one". We returned home, and on St. Patrick's day made the trip back up to Southampton to bring Abbey home. After filling out all the paperwork and signing the appropriate documents, we became the proud new owners of the cutest puppy in the world, Ramblin's Abigail Daphne.
