Arrival Story:
Maycee's story begins in the mean streets of Elkhart Indiana, where she was found as just a pup, a stray. She was picked up and was put in the Elkhart shelter. Her time in the hoosegow was short, however, because the champions of the Siberian Husky breed, Indy Homes for Huskies rescued her a took into a foster home. We were newly weds and looking for our first dog together. When we saw her on the IHH website we immediately knew that we had to meet her. We met her at one of the IHH events at PetSmart and it was love at first site. We got the adoption in order and Maycee was soon with us. A husky puppy has been an adventure, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
