 Quick Bio:
 Birthday: February 1st 2001
Likes: Steak, chicken, milkbones, beef chewies, pecans

Pet-Peeves: People walking past her house, squirrels, birds in her backyard

Favorite Toy: Stuffed squirrel

Favorite Food: Steak

Favorite Walk: Around the duck pond at the golf course in Friendswood, and her Austin neighborhood

Best Tricks: Sitting up pretty

Arrival Story: My cat Simon and I were very sad because my Prissy (Precious Princess Priscilla III) had died 3 months before Maggie was born. I picked up a newspaper and saw Maggie's litter advertised. I was working at a school in La Porte, and Maggie was at a nearby house. When I was on my way to another school (I'm a school psychologist), I stopped to see the puppies. I fell in love with Maggie.
It was hard to wait 2 more weeks for her to be old enough to bring home. She "sang" all the way home.

Bio: Maggie's mom came from the same breeder, Mrs. Beard, that Prissy came from. They look so much a like, I'm convinced they're related somehow.
Simon adopted Maggie, just as Prissy had adopted him. He even let Maggie try to nurse him! She quickly found out a boy kitty didn't have what she wanted!
Maggie loves to chase tennis balls, but she really loves her stuffed toys. She tends to "gut them", though, looking for the source of the squeaks they make. She has fun with mechanical toys that move around the floor, too.
Sometimes when she can get a mouse that Simon has brought in, she tucks it into her bed and is very protective of it.
Maggie's favorite place to sleep is under the covers with her mommy. She also likes sleeping in front of a fireplace or heater. She doesn't like to be cold.
Maggie loves car rides and trips, too.
Maggie's been missing Simon since he got lost. She hopes he comes home soon.

We've been in Colorado Springs 4 months now, and we now know exactly what snow is....it's Cold! The good thing is, when I come inside, the furnace blows warm air up through the floor instead of the ceiling, so I can just plop down on one of those spots to warm my tummy and toes! Sometimes I even sit at one and bark at Mom for her to turn the heat up. I really do like it here. Lots of people walk by that I can bark at, and Mom's really happy. Hmmm, I think I smell something cooking . . .!

Cat Management...Squirrel Management...Bird Management...Royalty has its price! I miss Simon, I really do. After all, he's the one who raised me, even if he is a cat. It was really cool when he'd bring in a dead mouse for me to tuck into my bed and keep warm. Now that Mom's adopted Austin and Duchess, she doesn't let them go outside. I hope she'll give in this summer so we can have some more mice to play with.
I haven't figured out yet why Mom thought I needed Ace. It's been 6 years and she still keeps talking about puppies--puppies wear out a Princess--my toys, socks, and any of Mom's underwear I can nab suit me just fine.
Today has been a busy day. My Number One Rule is, "All Toys Are Mine...All Mine." Ace gets it, why don't the cats get it? I growl and snap every time they walk past my throne by the fireplace. Then, that Duchess starts picking on Austin when he's trying to take a nap and I have to tell her to leave him alone. Mom wants me to have puppies? I don't have time for puppies! I've got to teach these new kids the rules of the house!
Oops, Austin's going after the Valentine flowers Kim sent Mom...gotta go teach him not to eat the roses and tiger lilies!....
Woof! Woof!
