Birthday: February 19th 2002 Likes: Being outside and watching everything going on around her. She doesn't like to lay on her part of the couch unless you are sitting down next to her and she is "plastered" to your hip. She loves to have her sweat shirts on when it is "cool" to her! Pet-Peeves: Loud noises, little kids, scared to death of rain/thunder/lighting. Favorite Toy: Balls, and anything she can tear up! Favorite Food: "Human" food, especially green beans, peas & pasta (which she doesn't get often). Likes to munch on Puppy Chow, but we had to stop giving it to her because of the dye in the food she was throwing up all the time. Favorite Walk: Around the area we live in which is a lot of hills to walk up and down. Best Tricks: "Crying" at us when she wants a treat and sitting in front of which every one she wants. Arrival Story: Our granddaughter got this dog for my husband because she thought he needed one! Bio: We just had Molly a couple weeks and I had given her a small raw hide bone and she chewed off a piece and we didn't know it and ate it. She started throwing up and couldn't keep down food or water. After a trip to the vet he x-rayed and found the blockage. He first gave her a big dose of castor oil to see if she could pass it, which she did but two days later she went into 75 % kidney failure. We at the time lived in Springfield, IL and had a wonderful vet who tried to save her (and did!). Any other vet I am sure would have put her to sleep. She survived but now I have to give her fluids in the neck under the skin every 4 days. Some days she kind of has a bad day (don't we all!). Our biggest problem with Molly is that she bites anyone that sticks out a hand to her. She has even bit her Mom & Dad. We don't know if it is fear or just being meaner "than a junk yard dog"! She takes after any dog, big or little, and would fight if you would let her. She has NEVER been mistreated with us so don't know what her problem is. In fact she is one big spoiled dog. We have the problem of not being able to leave her alone for anything. The vet said she has a bad case of separation anxiety. (Note: Her mom has been watching the Dog Whisperer - Cesar Millan, and has picked up on training her not to charge and bark at people that are walking by the house or us on our walks. She is doing good at this now.) Forums Motto: Let me get those chipmunks Mom! The Groups I'm In: Pawsome Pages, The Rat Lounge I've Been On Dogster Since:
The photo with my head laying on the kitchen table shows what happens when you eat to many snacks! I had a tummy ache and my mom picked me up and I just laid my head on the table because I felt so bad.
