Arrival Story:
Aslan was a dog bought buy a breeder and he was stuck in a kennel for Three years outside. My parent's bought him as a gift for me and brought him home for me. Aslan was just about to turn three years old and was not house trained or anything, but he won my heart and he house trained in a day and has been an absolute joy to have around - well the cats have something to say about that.... lol

Bio:
Aslan used to go to the dog park a lot but in the summer of 2006 he was attacked by a big dog at the dog park on a sunday and had to go to the emergency vets - there the vet was wonderful and stiched up his wounds (he had a puncture mark on the back of the neck on the spine, a slash that needed stiching behind his left ear around his neck and two small wounds on his throat that pinched his vocal cords)... poor Aslan was put on heart meds to slow his heart down, diuretics (to make sure no fluid built up on his brain or spinal column - since he was shaken by the big dog), anti-biotics and steriods... he is now all healed up but that has really shaken us up and he will not be returning to any dog park where big dogs are allowed - plus i get very uncomfortable around shepherd/rottie crosses now - even tho i love rotties.
