Nala's Life & Stories

What my days are usually like.

Every morning my Mom takes me to my grandma's house so I can play with her dogs. I get my breakfast there and of course a treat afterwards. The I spend the day playing with Heidi and Tucker. We play, we sleep, we lie in the sun and play some more. When I am here I am allowed on the furniture. Grandma has better food too. I used to dig out of the yard so I could swim in the lake. Then I would wander around the neighborhood until Mom came in the car to get me.

After dinner and our evening treat, Mom would come and pick me up and take me home. There I'd play with the kids and sleep. I have my usual placed I like.; behind the recliner in the living room, on the tile under the A/C intake and of course in my crate. I love my crate, unless the kids come in it. Then depending on my mood whether I stay when they are there.

I am allowed on Steven and Stacey's bed (those are my kids). Steven drives me crazy but I guess I drive him crazy too. Stacey doesn't much like me on her bed. She says I take up too much room.

Things changed though. I don't get to go over there anymore. Heidi has come to live with us. I have to fight to get into the front seat of the car now. I heard that Tucker is sick and had to have surgery. I haven't been allowed to see him the past few weeks, but I hear he looks real funny. I hear there are pictures of him somewhere. I can't wait for him to be better so I can see him and go to Grandma's house again. We can pretty much do whatever we want there. There are more rules in my house. I like both, but Grandma's gives us more treats and usually has better food.
