Arrival Story:
My husband has wanted another dog after we gave our last away due to shedding and biting. After a few years, I finally relented in his persistence and decided to look for a non-shedding toy dog. Our two daughters have allergies of all sorts, so it's best that we look for a puppy that doesn't shed. One night, I googled "poodles + Tucson" and the first page was a current ad to our local paper's classified. It ran just 5 days prior, so I didn't think the breeder would have any of the 4 female mini poodles left. I jot down the number anyway and slept on it. The next morning, I decided "what the heck" and it turned out that there were 2 left. Our whole family drove an hour to our puppy's birth place later in the day and came back home with Lani.

Bio:
Lani is a friendly and sweet tempered little girl. When we first met her, she was the quiet one of the two we had seen. We chose Nalani as her name as it means "calm heaven" in Hawai'ian or "Serenity of the Skies". "Ba Yue" (pronounced bah-yoo) is Chinese for August which is her birth month. She's mostly cream with hints of apricot and is CKC registered.
