Bio:
Lugar is a cadaver dog for the Niagara County Sheriff's Department Special Forces Unit. He has his BH in Schutzhund, is a CGC & TDI as well.

Lugar was diagnosed with cancer of the spleen and was bleeding heavily into his abdomen.
The vet explained that if surgery was performed, it would give Lugar, at most, another 3 months. Spleen cancer, because it is blood born, has a 95% fatality rate. Also, 25% of the dogs that have this cancer also have cancer in the
brain because it spreads so quickly.
With the obvious discomfort he was in, and the
discomfort he would have had after surgery and for his remaining time on this earth, I decided it would be best to let him go.
I know my good friend Bruce will take good care of him.
I'll miss you baby boy & momma loves you always.
