Arrival Story:
After falling in love with Shibas after seeing one on a dog show, I began doing research on the breed as well as meeting some in person to see if it was the right dog for me. When I finally knew that this was my breed I knew I wanted to adopt one that needed a home, but I also didn't want to adopt from a shelter since myself and others have had many negative experiences through the local shelters lying about the health, age, and temperaments of the animals being adopted out. So I searched online through Shiba rescue. I finally found Yoshi listed amongst many others. But his description was everything I was looking for. And when I met him in person it was love at first sight! Knowing the aloofness of Shibas, I wasn't expecting a warm welcome from him when I met him, but Yoshi ran right to me and couldn't stop climbing all over me to give me kisses!
