My daughter Dominique (Dee-dee) had been asking me and my husband for a dog on her 7th birthday. Unfortunately, we had apprehensions on getting her one. So I just told my daughter to pray to Jesus and hope that she might get one. For some strange reason the following week a family friend gave us Bascombe - and we knew right away that she was a blessing sent from above!
