Quick Bio:
-three legger-pound dog-dog rescue

Likes:
Colin favours sleeping in most mornings, followed by refusing to eat any food presented to him. In the afternoon, he breaks up long snoozes in the sun by begging constantly, as though starved. Evenings are reserved for walks, leisure, lounging, etc.

Pet-Peeves:
His only pet peeve seems to be getting disturbed when sleeping under the covers. He just won't move at all.

Favorite Toy:
Colin now has a favorite bird and he now loves the bear I got for him, which he was originally scared to death of.

Favorite Food:
Cat food, chicken, yoghurt and cheese.

Favorite Walk:
Colin, as a recent amputee/other front leg broke dog, is only just reacqainting himself with the joys of nature. A favorite is running in the field of Fairfax High.

Best Tricks:
Colin could fall asleep on a clothesline, his appetite for sleep seemingly insatiable.

Arrival Story:
In the vets waiting room, with our cat, Colin looked down at us from a noticeboard. There was to be no looking back. He had a cast on his front leg and was to stay in foster care until it was taken off, then he would be ours. When the cast was taken off, it was found that a botched casting job by the pound operative had led to poor enough blood circulation to allow gangrene to set in. Our kind, excellent vet made the decision to amputate. That was the Friday, and by the Monday, frightened and a little confused, Colin came to live with us.

Bio:
In his new home for three days, Colin hopped out of a little carrier on the floor, and broke his remaining front leg. A scene so genuinely heartbreaking and emotion filled, that motion picture writers enquire about optioning the story. Our vet explained that a plate and pins, therefore surgery, was required and once again Colin was under the knife. Now some eight weeks later, Colin is like a different dog, he has had the cast off, and runs and hops and skips around like a champ. Locally, he has become quite a celebrity, and though I would love to report that this hasn't gone to his head, I would be lieing if I did. As you can see by these new photos, Colin has found his legs again, and can be seen zooming around in his favourite field most evenings.
