WOW!!!

I am so HAPPY!!! Finally a big snow storm where I live! CJ talked about a big snow fall in 2003 when she was little but Matty and I never believed her.

I am having trouble with one of my legs lately so I hope I can run around and enjoy it!
OK it looks like we are going outside!! I have to go get Matty so he can see this!

My Adventure With Mommy

This evening Mommy decided to take me for a car ride. Mommy had to meet someone to talk about doing a canine behavior and training radio show, and she wanted me to meet her friends.She said I am being neglected since Matty's surgery. CJ gets to work with Mommy doing all of the client dogs, and Matty is being doted on since his surgery and I am kind of lost in the shuffle. It's OK I understand and all, but Mommy says I am her best buddy and she wanted to do something nice for me since I love going places with her. I don't do the client dogs because I get defensive. My heart condition leaves me a bit insecure so I act out sometimes, but I do get to go do errands because I am good with people-especially the ladies. I love women.

Anyway Mommy doesn't see great at night and she rolled over something very bumpy and got a flat tire. She had to call a tow truck and the stupid guy wouldn't let Mommy ride in the car with me, and he wouldn't let me come in his truck so I had to ride in Mommy's car by myself.

When she got in the guy's truck I was so worried about her. I am her faithful companion-we are not supposed to be split up. Luckily it was a short ride but I wanted to be with Mommy.

Mommy thought I was mad at her, but I wasn't. The tow truck lowered me and her car on the ground at our house and she let me in my dog pen. Then Daddy came out and she opened the gate so I could go inside with Daddy, but I wouldn't. I waited for Mommy because I love her and I know she didn't make me ride alone-it was the tow truck guy. I don't understand why I couldn't go in his truck. I was nice to him. He was a jerk though I could tell he wasn't a big dog person.I can sense these things. Mommy said if he liked dogs I could have ridden in the truck or he would have let Mommy stay with me.
he told Mommy she couldn't ride in our car on the flat bed in because in case the car fell of with her in it he would get in trouble. I heard Mommy say but what if that happens to Hank? He is my best friend! But the guy wouldn't say yes.

I have to admit I felt like a big boy riding in the car by myself, but just wanted my Mommy to be honest. I watch over her with all of my heart and soul. I love Mommy!

When I got home Matty was so happy to see me he was talking up a storm! He kissed my muzzle and said he missed me and he was glad I was OK. I love that little guy! Even in his condition he was worried about me. CJ was too, she said she was so glad to see me!

I have a great pack-when we settled down I told everyone about my adventure with Mommy. It was all OK in the end, as long as I am with Mommy I know all is right with the world!

All About Matty

Not that I am complaining, but Matty had his bilateral hip surgery and Mommy and Daddy are so busy with him that CJ and I don't get to do much of anything because someone always has to be on top of Matty to keep him from trying to stand up.

I try to take care of him, sometimes he wants me to lay with him, and then other times he gets cranky and snaps at CJ and me. Sometimes he banishes me into the kitchen. That gets me mad but I understand. I never go back at him, nor does CJ.

I just feel bored, and kind of invisible. Mommy pays as much attention to me as she can but I know Matty needs her more right now.

At least Grandma came to help out yesterday and she is staying for a few days, so Mommy got CJ and me out for a nice walk and some frisbee playing. She said we deserve it because we have been so understanding and well behaved with everything.

We love Matty and we want to get the little guy back on his feet as soon as possible.

Hurray For Matty!

Matty is the featured diary of the day today on dogster! We haven't had that honor in our pack in a long time.

Tomorrow CJ is going into the vet to be spayed. I know she is nervous so I won't be too much of a pesty little brother to her today.

It's CJ's Birthday today!

First I would like to apologize to CJ for our big fight yesterday. She cut my paw and I cut her muzzle but we are friends again. I was being a big jerk hording all of our toys and bones. CJ I am very very sorry.

On a brighter note HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! I hope you like all of the toys you got!

I Am Very Annoyed

Tonight Mommy did a lecture at our local library and she took CJ instead of me-her little Doodleboy! She always tells me that I am her best friend and her love, but she left me home!

Mommy said CJ is sharp with her commands and she is great with kids. I don't love strange kids, but the ones I do know I love. I don't understand. Matty is great with kids and he didn't get to go either. Why does CJ get to do everything and we don't?

How could Mommy leave me home when I do everything with her? I follow her down to the basement to do laundry, I follow her all the way upstairs and wait for her to put it away. I go all over the house with her, we go for long walks together- I get to go to the bank and the pet store with her? Why couldn't I go do the lecture?

CJ says it's because she is the Alpha Queen and thats why. I respectfully disagree.

All About Matty

Last week we found out that Matty's hips were in very bad shape. We didn't know if there was anything that could be done to allow him to have a normal happy life-BUT THERE IS!!!

He will have an operation in the spring, and after a long recoup period he will able to run and play with me.

I am so glad, I miss my little bro being able to romp with me-Mommy & Daddy keep stopping us because Matty's legs keep going out from under him.

I am willing to wait, hey he's worth it!

Not Fair!!!

Today is Thanks-Give-Me, and Mommy got to over and see my Kallie-Girl.
Matty got to visit Ginger today, why couldn't I go see my fiancee?

Kallie personally invited me to her family's Thanks-Give-Me feast and Mommy said that I couldn't go. I was very upset.

When Mommy came back I sniffed her up and down. I was very annoyed.
We did get to have prime rib though-but it wasn't the same as dining on Prime Rib with my Kallie-Love. It's not fair-shouldn't I have gotten to see my girl on the Holiday?

I Gave My Girl A Ring!!

Happy Thanks-Give -Me everyone! I am very excited because I gave my Kallie Girl her early Christmas present. I gave her a beautiful engagement ring and asked her to share my pink blankie with me forever as my wife-SHE SAID YES!!!!
I am so happy, I pranced around me house and carried our blankie all over.
I even get to go on long walks with Kallie (of course Mommy & Aunt Kimi have to chaperone)- I keep telling them I know my way on my own, I even proved it once.

Hank Starring In: "Homeward Bound Three-Hank's Big- Adventure"

Oh boy, I was in big trouble last night. You see Mommy & Daddy had to go to a family wedding and I would have to spend hours and hours in my kennel. They arranged for me to spend the night with Aunt Kimi and Uncle Nick so I could play with Kallie my sweet love, and Chaney my sister-dog-in-law.

Daddy & Mommy brought me into their house and put me into my kennel so I wouldn't be bad. Uncle Nick came home 45 minutes later and let me out. I played with Kallie & Chaney but I kept laying by the door. I wanted my Mommy!

Then Uncle Nick went to take out the trash and I saw my chance, I bolted past him and out the door. I chased some deer first and then I took off. Uncle Nick was calling me and calling me but I wanted to go home! I ran through Glenmere Homesites Road-thats the route Mommy takes when she walks us everyday.

Uncle Nick called Aunt Kimi at her job hysterical and she called Aunt Tara who called Uncle Adam and they all were looking for me with their daughter Brittney I like Brittney. They all asked the neighbors if they saw me and they all said yes that I zoomed past them on the road. I wa on a mission to find my Mommy & Daddy!I got home ahead of them and CJ & Matty were barking to me from the windows. Then Uncle Adam came in his big red truck and tried to get me to go in but I said NO. Then Uncle Nick showed up and put my leash on & put me in his big green truck and we went back home. Then Aunt Kimi came home after she stopped off at my house to take care of CJ & Matty. When she got home I felt SOOOOOOOOOO much better. She has understood me since I was 9 weeks old.

I played coffee table game for hours with Kallie & Chaney and I even got to sleep with Aunt Kimi in her bed. I know Mommy called to see if I wanted to be picked up but Aunt Kimi said I was fine now.
