Arrival Story:
When we drove to Kin Kin (1.5 hrs from Brisbane) to choose the puppy we would take home, all of the puppies surrounded my husband a few metres away. I was watching him with all the puppies and didn't notice the stray puppy at my feet that I accidently stood on until she yelped, I had to take her home after that! Pol turned six weeks old that day and was the 2nd littlest of a litter of twelve (2nd only to a little girl with a heart mumur which we would have been happy to take as well did she not already have a home), those big boys took all the milk! To this day she is still petite even though she has always had the appetitie of a horse. Polly came to us infested with both intestinal and ring worms. The intestial worms were quickly fixed with an immediate visit to the vet for worming treatments, however the ringworms took months of constant drugs, ointments and bathing in special dog shampoo. We were worried it might affect her personalty to be pinned down twice a day for the ointment and the constant bathing might make her dis-like her baths, but we made sure to treat her plenty and try and make games out of these situations. We got a great result and she didn't end up with one scar which is really hard to believe if you had had seen the extent of the infection. The vet said she had never seen anything like it.

Bio:
Polly has always been an indoor dog and really only likes going out into her big yard if we go out to play with her or do some gardening. She sleeps in bed with her human Mummy & Daddy and is happy to let us know when it is our bed time if we stay up too late. She is the most wonderful big sister to her baby human sister . She is so very sweet and loving and has never shown the slightest sign of jealousy which would have been understandable, given that some of her attention has recently been taken and given to the baby. I'm sure she would make an excellent mother if she was to have a litter.
