Arrival Story:
I rescued Zoey from a shelter where she was about to be put down, because they couldn't "socialize" her. Truth be told, she had been abused and/or neglected and the shelter felt she was so afraid of people and other dogs there that she wasn't "adoptable"! All Zoey needed was someone to patiently earn her trust. Well worth the year I invested! She loves everyone and plays with any dog or cat that will have her . Everyone who meets Zoey falls instantly in love with her!
Bio:
Zoey is my first dog. She is my angel on earth. although she has never been trained as a Therapy Dog, I have taken her to visit Mentally Ill and Physically Challenged adults and children. The results are astounding! Zoey has so much love to share that she can't be resisted! Whenever I have to leave her for any period of time, I am always greated with the most wonderful smile. She even gets my sometimes grouchy Mom to crack a huge smile and laugh hysterically. Now THAT'S really something!!!
