Arrival Story:
On September 15, 2006 my mom lost her 10 year old Wheaten Terrier, Archie. The next day she had to leave for Florida for a family emergency. While there and dealing with her emotional devastation compounded by stress, she hit the Internet to look at puppies. The minute I saw my face peering out at me, it was a connection. She emailed the breeder that day, they spoke by phone the next day and a couple of weeks later I arrived.

Bio:
I'm a first generation Labradoodle. My Dad is a Parti standar poodle (black and white). My mom is an English Lab (chocolate). The litter (12 pups!) had 9 black, which will turn silver; and three apricot. The farm on which I lived in Bland, MO - about 2 hours from St. Louis - also breeds Siberian Huskies (Jodie breeds the Doodles and her daughter breeds huskies). They also have horses and cats. On top of all that, they also run one of the best rescue operations in the area - Safe Haven Kennels. My mom says that makes me about the most well-socialized little fella you can imagine. It was a bit of an adjustment to City life (buses and trucks and such) but the rest of it has been a walk in the park!
