Arrival Story:
We recently lost our 16 1/2 year old Husky Mix, Missy, in 11/03 and had been searching rescues and shelters since 12/03 with no "real match." We made a posting on Sibernet-L requesting Siberian breeder info, and an acquaintance on Sibernet-L referred us to the breeder of her beautiful red Sibe, Niko. When we went to Kentucky to check out the litter, Tala was an adorable, shy red head with blue eyes, and we instantly fell in love. We picked the name Tala because it means "Stalking Wolf" in Native American. We chose the middle name of Elizabeth because it sounds good when yelling at her in the yard! HA HA -- Also to honor Elizabeth Taylor!

Bio:
Tala first had an older sister Dottie, who was a Dalmatian. They had gotten along better than we could have imagined since the instant they met. Tala had really missed Dottie since she passed. They were best friends. Now Tala is the "big sister" to Abby. These two are two peas in a pod! Inseparable!
