Arrival Story: I'd wanted a dog since I was a little girl, but my father secretly has a fear of dogs. My uncle Alex found this cute dog named Patches, and said that he was looking for a new home. Patches was one at the time, and cared for by a pregnant lady and her family. The lady was overwhelmed with her pregnancy, teaching position, and family roles (I guess), and she was looking for a good and responsible family, and here we came! Patches was such an exciting pup, he literally dragged me on the leash when I "test-walked" him in his old owner's neighborhood. I was intimidated at first! Finally, it was time to pick Patches up to officially take him home. When he saw my family, this dog couldn't stop running around the house, sliding, and landing on his butt. He was so excited to stick his head out of the window on the drive home, and was too pleased with all of the space in the new house. Patches never cried or seemed home-sick...but he did keep me up all night wanting to play. Ah the good ole days :-)

Bio: WE'LL ALWAYS MISS YOU PATCHES. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE MY BABY-MY LOVE. I DREAM ABOUT YOU EVERY NIGHT AND LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR BARK AND WAGGING TAIL WHEN I COME HOME. I KNOW THAT I'LL SEE YOU AGAIN.MAY GOD BLESS YOU,PATCHES.

Hey guys, my mom actually let my doc put this cone on my head. I keep trying to get it off, but the girls won't let me. As a lhasa, I have really bad allergies and like to bite/scratch myself until my skin's raw. I have to keep a low hair cut, take meds, and keep this cone on for a while. My sis has to hand feed me, and my mom puts my medicine inside tastey blueberry yogurt. It sucks, but hey, atleast I'm getting pampered more than usual!!

So, one of my best friend's, Buddy, went to God's kingdom recently. I miss him sooo much, I just can't believe he's gone. I mean, yeah I'm enjoying the peace and quiet 'cause he sure did have a big mouth, but he was my big mouth! I keep tugging at my leash and pulling the girls so they can take me to his house. I keep hoping that maybe if I stay on his turf for long enough he'll get annoyed with me like he used to, and come back...I even peed in his "spot," but still no Buddy. His mom said he had stomach cancer which just came outta nowhere, and that bloodwork only tests the liver, but x-rays are sooo impt.- that's how they found the cancer. I will forever miss my Buddy. Yeah- he was a yapper and liked to chase me, and I was a cuddler who always found a way to wind up right there next to him- I never gave up! The fun times we had...he'll be missed. I love you Sir Buddy.
