He got to the pumpkin pie this year before we did! Ate the whole thing!!!! Arrival Story: A friend told me about an ad in the classifieds for Mastiff puppies and the breeder also had a 2yr. old male that she was trying to place. I wanted a new dog but wasn't in a position to spend the time crate training/house breaking a puppy, as much as I would have like to. Turned out this breeder lived right up the road from me and when I went to see Brutus, it was love at first sight. I knew somehow he was meant for me.
I am convinced that my beloved Casey who passed on to the bridge sent Bru to me. My grief over the loss of both Casey and Tina within 2 weeks of each other was almost more than I could bear. I only went a month without a dog and couldn't stand it any more. The way I found out about Brutus had to have come from my Casey, watching down from above. I know he didn't want me to be lonely any more. I will love Casey, Tina and Bru for the rest of my life and will always be grateful that I had the good fortune to share my life with them. Brutus has been such a source of comfort and security for me and has definitely helped with my grieving. A breed that cannot be ignored!!! :o) Forums Motto: Watch out for those slingers!!!
