Birthday: September 28th 2003 Likes: cuddles, car rides Pet-Peeves: rain, umbrellas Favorite Toy: turtle Favorite Food: innnova, any doggie treat Favorite Walk: around the neighbourhood Best Tricks: roll over, smiling Arrival Story: I was applying for another dog at a rescue that is privately run and the owner/operater told me of a little dog that she thought needed me more that I needed him. Sight unseen I then drove 30 miles into Vancouver and went to get him. She opened the gate to her yard and in a baby snuggle this little face peeked out at me. His little eyes said "Please help me". That was it. I said Hi to him and he started to way his tail apparently for the first time since he had arrived at the rescue. He was extemely underweight and had been shaved because he was so matted he couldn't be groomed. He also shook like a leaf when he was placed on my lap. Less than 1 hour later we were on our way home. I said to Bailey that he had had a lousy life and he was about to start fresh and I had had a great life that had turned lousy (I lost my husband to cancer) and together we would start again. We have. He is now the happiest little dog and has gained 3 lbs. and his hair is growing back. By the way he stopped shaking as soon as he got in my car headed for his new home.
