Maisie - The new head of the household

My Birthday - 1 year old today

Mummy and daddy hadn't forgotten my birthday and said that we were going out in the car, even though they know I hate it, what a start to a girls birthday! We were safely strapped into our harnesses in the car for our trip, I escaped from mine within two miles as usual and sat on the floor of the car, mummy calls me the Houdini dog.

We first went to the pet store and I choose a lovely new collar, see picture gallery below and M and D bought me a new harness, I sat in it for the whole of the next journey just to please them.

Mummy also bought a book of dog friendly places so I'm hoping we might get to go on holiday with them soon.

Then we went to a common for a walk, we couldn't get very far because it was very wet and boggy but I found some lovely pony poo!
On the way home I escaped from my harness straight away so I could lie next to Chester.

Daddy had a photo shoot when we got home and a selection of my poses are posted below. Chester is my agent and any requests for copies should be directed through him, remember I particularly like cheese, any kind will do.
I've thrown in a picture of Chester too, he only sulks if left out.

I'm typing this from my bedroom, we have been sent to bed early for barking at the neighbours.

A visit to the vets x2

I visited the vet last week and had my first injection, then this week mummy and daddy were worried about my eye.
It was slightly cloudy from when I came to my new home and last week the vet wasn't to worried.
Today though a corneal ulcer has been diagnosed so I'm having eye drops six times a day and I'm feeling really sorry for myself.
Big brother Chester is being very good though and not chasing me to much.

I'm having lots of cuddles with mummy and daddy and that makes me feel better too.

My arrival

Mummy and Daddy came to see me on 12th October and I had a great time with Chester who came with them.
They returned the very next day and took me to their home with my new big brother Chester.
We love to run around and play all of the time and when Chester gets to much I know just where to nip him and make him stop!

We love each other really, look at us sleeping together. I think I'll have to make some changes to the household though, more chicken and especially more cheese. A seperate room for Chester would also help as he does snore rather loudly.

Mummy says I can have some pearls soon, I'll be showing them here as soon as I get them.

Bye for now, have to get my beauty sleep and be alert for the vet and my injections tomorrow.
