Arrival Story:
I wanted a second dog to play with Rocco, and at the time we thought Roc might be a Lab/Pyr mix, so when I saw Bash at a PetSmart super adoption, it was game over. I refused to leave him there. It was the last day of the event, last half hour of the event and it took a good 15 to 20 minutes to find his paperwork because I refused to leave without him. He was hugely underweight, only 70 pounds for an 18 mo. old Pyr, and he got along famously with Rocco in the parking lot. We actually found out that Bash was their dog mascot of the adoption and that he had also been at the shelter for about 3 months. They were told that he fell out of the back of a pick up on the freeway which might explain his hatred of most vechicles.
