Sun Sign: Quick Bio:
 Birthday: August 9th 2006
Likes: Retrieving, retrieving, retrieving! Daily morning wrestles with Henna. Mossy loves to work - in the field, in the yard - wherever she can find a job to do. Her orange dog whistle - causes wiggle butt to happen when she sees it.

Pet-Peeves: She really dislikes baths - even the nice indoor warm ones 3 seasons of the year. She'd rather slink away to her crate and fake a sleeping Lab!

Favorite Toy: Her Dead Fowl Trainer - foam training bird and her Wubbas

Favorite Food: Orijen - (Organic, grain-free, with botanicals), Peanut butter - she will bring her hollow bone into the kitchen whenever I open the cupboard where the peanut butter is kept - begging for me to stuff it in the bone.

Favorite Walk: On a nearby nature trail where her and Henna can walk off-leash and explore all those good smells and run through the mud after rainy weather

Best Tricks: Jump up into my arms for a hugs, turn and sit on a single whistle, high 5, back up.

Arrival Story: Mossy Oak is actually Kingsland's Northwest Mossy Oak, Henna's biological cousin, and we couldn't pass up the chance to have another dog from the same bloodlines that gave us our Henna girl - with such a great temperament. Mossy came home at just about 8 weeks and puppy hood had returned to our household again. After some adjustment time, Henna is now again smiling in pictures with her cousin (for those first couple months, she’d just turn her head and pretend Mossy wasn’t there). Now the two are great friends.

Bio: Mossy has turned out to to be quite the mighty huntress. This fall she did a bang up job in the field, flushing pheasant and a few other ipland birds. Aside from being a great field dog, little Mossy has grown into quite the little sweetie. She likes to cuddle on our bed in the mornings, and will often try to sneek under the covers and lay verrrry still hoping we won't kick her off the bed.

Forums Motto: Brown Dogs! Brown Dogs!

The Groups I'm In:
Chocolate Love, Dockdogs

DockDogs: Mossy just completed her first ever season of DockDogs with her best jump being 12 feet 4 inches. Her first season was full of confidence ups and downs! Some days her confidence would launch her off the dock at mach speed, where other days, she's just look down and the water and bark furioulsy at her floating toy, not wanting to get so much as a toe wet. I can't wait to see how she grows as a dockdog during the next season!
