Arrival Story:
Loki (pack submissive) was neglected in a kennel with around 5 other dogs. He had very little contact with humans. He's still adjusting & probably will be for a very long time. I've always had a way with "hard knocks" dogs. He's been here about 4 months & within a week he was crate trained. I don't even have to tell him to get in the crate. If I shower he automatically goes in. Sometimes I have to coax him out cuz I'm not leaving. He used to be scared of the radio & TV. He knows (lay) down & sit but only when I get in bed. He does come when he's called.

He's a strange color. He's silver & gray & blue. He looks like smoke.
He's very tall with long legs. He can jump high like a kangaroo.
His big brother Homer barely tolerates him.
He's come a long way. He & Homer get along fine now. Loki needs a playmate & has realized Homer doesn't play with other dogs anymore. Loki knows basic commands & comes when I whistle/call for him. He's a sweet boy. He always lets me know when the tea kettle's about to go off. He's got a deep scary bark so I'm not worried break ins.
