Arrival Story:
Yukon was going to be my husband's first dog. We went to the Animal Protective League and he was so quiet and clean in his kennel we could not resist him, and he was grown-up and nobody wanted him. We should have changed our mind when, upon exiting the kennel, he morphed into a psycho maniac and pooped and peed all over the floor, but we took the leap anyways.

Bio:
The first thing Yukon did upon walking into our home was to poop on the carpet. He then proceeded to chase and terrorize every one of our cats. He taught us that a five-foot gate is a joke. He taught us that cables, heavy duty boat hooks, collars, and leashes are jokes. He is the reason we now have eight-foot fencing. He is also the reason the police have paid us a few visits. All of this happened in the first year of owning him, however. He is now a great little dog, and it just goes to show you should tough that first year out--it is worth it!
