I'm a big sister!

I have a new little brother now. His name is Jack and he was born this past July. I posted a picture of me with him. I'm a very good big sister and am protective and caring with the baby. Mommy tells me all the time how I was her first baby. She always reassures me about how much she still loves me so that I don't get jealous, but I love Jack just as much as everyone else does!

It's been a while

I have been doing very well. Nothing really new to report, though. I had a great summer. I heard rumors that Mommy is planning a haircut for me in the very near future. I don't mind it, really, but it's not my favorite thing. I always get nice treats after, though!

Spring is almost here!

Mommy and I have been taking longer walks. It actually got up in the high 60s a few days ago, but now it's cold again. It's mid-March in upstate New York, so this is all par for the course.

I got to go to a birthday party with Mommy the other day. It was so fun! I got to see Gramma and Grampa and Uncle Mike chased me around the house. I certainly slept good that night : )

I'm back!

Mommy had to have back surgery and was out of work and away from her computer for five months. I felt bad for her, but it was great having her home all the time. I'm so glad to be back and see all my Dogster friends!

Super Fun Day!

Yesterday my buddy Morgan and I got to go to the park. It was great, especially after being home alone during the day. Morgan and I went in the water and played fetch and ran around.

Mommy was surprised that I went in the water because I usually don't like it, but I was having a ball! Later we even got to have a few bites of pizza crust which was the perfect ending to the beautiful day!

I'm all better now!

I am happy to report that my leg/paw is all better now. I have been walking normally for over five days now. I'm glad Mommy waited and decided to wait about the vet appointment : )

Mommy's worried about me

For a few days, I've been not using my right back leg every now and then. I do everything else fine - running, jumping, walking - it's only when I am "trotting" pace that I do it. I let Mommy look at my paw and it doesn't bother me a bit. She didn't see anything, but yet I continue to do it.

Last night I did a whole walk and used all four legs the whole time. I may have to go to the vet again, and I was just there for my yearly checkup!

A new "outfit" for me!

Mommy just bought me this Gap hoodie (see picture above). She thinks I look "so cute" in it. I don't really mind wearing it because, frankly, I do look somewhat adorable when it's on. I've kinda even cracked a little smile in the picture. (Mommy is CRAZY with that camera!)

Mommy also said that I am going to "spa day" this Saturday. That means a bath and haircut, etc. to complete my new spring look!

I kinda like the pampering : )

Stupid bath!

Well, Mommy totally tricked me on Saturday and I ended up in the bathtub! I guess I don't mind it a whole lot, but there are several things that I would rather do than that. I don't mind the whole bath part, I just don't like being wet! Mommy tries to use the blowdryer, but I'm not a fan of that, either. Only Auntie Gia has been able to pull that one off. Mommy dries me with a towel good, then I run around like a crazy girl - rubbing against the couch, and on the carpet. Mommy brushed me after I calm down a bit and she says that helps me dry faster.

I must admit, though, I smell good and I'm very clean and fluffy! Now when Mommy brushes me, I even get a little bit of static in my fur. I know that Mommy is scheduling a full "spa day" for me soon. That means I'll get the whole beauty treatment - a new spring hair cut and ANOTHER bath!!!

I'm a working girl!

Yesterday I got to go to work with Mommy to her office for a little while in the afternoon. It was really fun. So many people petting me and fussing over me. I don't see why she doesn't take me every day! The whole experience really tired me out, though : )
