chasing after squirrels and birds, fetch, tummy rubs, riding in the "big truck" and going places with Mommy, seeing and playing with all my dog friends when I go for my walks, her "secret hiding place", when friends come to visit, being brushed

Arrival Story:
I chose Madden because out of all the dogs around her she seemed to have the most outgoing personality and really wanted to play (which at the time was very important when we lived at our other house with Zeke - an 80+ pound lab!). I was holding another dog and really interested in that one, but Madden made sure I knew that it was she and I that were meant to be together...plus she immediately started kissing me when I picked her up!
Bio:
I am thankful every day that I have Madden. She's a constant source of joy and entertainment. Her personality is the best and I wouldn't trade her for anything!

I have a new little brother now. His name is Jack and he was born this past July. I posted a picture of me with him. I'm a very good big sister and am protective and caring with the baby. Mommy tells me all the time how I was her first baby. She always reassures me about how much she still loves me so that I don't get jealous, but I love Jack just as much as everyone else does!

I have been doing very well. Nothing really new to report, though. I had a great summer. I heard rumors that Mommy is planning a haircut for me in the very near future. I don't mind it, really, but it's not my favorite thing. I always get nice treats after, though!

Mommy and I have been taking longer walks. It actually got up in the high 60s a few days ago, but now it's cold again. It's mid-March in upstate New York, so this is all par for the course.
I got to go to a birthday party with Mommy the other day. It was so fun! I got to see Gramma and Grampa and Uncle Mike chased me around the house. I certainly slept good that night : )
