Arrival Story:
I found Sadie online at the Jacksonville Animal Care and Control. They had her listed as a small dog, but when they brought her out, I saw she weighed about 60 lb (I wanted a little dog). I did not have the heart to send her back because she had already been there about six months. I was told that the previous owners took her back to the pound because she chewed on the walls. She has been somewhat of a challenge but only because she had never been taught any manners, and she is stubborn. She has short basset legs but the rest of her is lab. She is a loving dog that does not realize her own size. She wants to be around me all the time and see what I am doing. She absolutely adores my grandkids.
