Arrival Story: In 1988, I wanted a pound dog, MDH John ended up wanting a pure bred toy poodle. We found one through Poodle Rescue in Georgia.
This breeder was under court order to get rid of all pets or have them seized. Immediately MDH John HAD to take him home, the breeder, took our deposit and took the poodle with them for a massive breeding time (stud) we later found out. Much later we also found out that the breeder had been cited by a judge for having over 100 cats and dogs in a 3 bedroom residential house and neighbors were reporting them to ASPCA-but, by the time we found all of this out, the $350.00 check had already cleared and, of course, MDH John had fallen in love with him. This breeder took our deposit and our dog and took him out on the road with his semi-truck long haul job and bred him all he could before we finally got him back. his father is listed as Francios Corey his mother as Charmin Delight.
Also, the birth certifcate came afterwards and he was slightly older than we had been told-the vet said his back was injured by the excessive breeding that had been done by the breeders. He then started having incidents where he got very active when he saw the feral cats that hung out in the woods behind our apartment. He ingored all but one of them and every time he saw her, he pitched a royal fit. The apartment manager told us to watch her from a far distance and with binoculars we would see her killing water moccasins and other snakes by the creek in the woods. MDH John called the feral cat Marbalet-because of her coloring. Every time our poodle saw Marbalet Kitty Supreme, who was a feral cat, he would hyper-ventilate. We spent a fortune on Vet bills, we thought our poodle had asthma or something medically, mentally or emotionally wrong-after much $$$ spent, we found out he was pitching a fit to have Marbalet Kitty Supreme indoors to be his girlfriend. He HATED other dogs with a passion, as well as other animals of any kind. He would shred toy animals which we one out of the machines at the laundry mat, too. Marbalet Kitty Supreme's story is over at Catster:http://www.catster.com/pet _page.php?j=t&i=403553 We enjoyed many years with Francois Beauvious and he would hyperventilate and refuse to go bathroom outdoors the ENTIRE time we had him. No amount of obediance training, quality time spent with him would change that-the minute his paws hit carpet, his bladder and bowels let loose! ARGHHH-we bought 3 carpet cleaning machines during his lifetime, because of that problem. We enjoyed him a long, time and when he got inoperable cateracts, Marbalet Kitty Supreme would lead him to his water and food bowl and NEVER even smell those dishes. After MDH John had his stroke on March 10, 2000, he was hospitalized and, as we had no insurance, I had to work 3 jobs and take care of MDH John at home, as well-5 days later, 3-15-2000 we brought MDH John home from the hospital-Francois Beauvious never got over the fact that MDH John was away from him even while he was at work, he would not eat and misbehaved horribly. But, alas, this was too heartache for Francois Beauvious he had a heart attack we rushed him to the Emergency Vet and he passed away 3-15-2000. :O(

Bio: R.I.P. He passed away 3-15-2000, 5 days after MDH John's stroke and we haven't been able to get another one since!!! :O(

Light A Candle in Loving Memories
May all of us in our time of grief let it be known that our precious pets' memories will be held close to our hearts. May we find comfort in sharing this love knowing that all our pets are healthy, free of pain, looking and guiding us each day through their memories in the Garden of Roses Beyond Life's Gateway. Our memorial candles will forever remain lit.
May we join in our love for all of our pets in faith and hope In the Rose Gardens Beyond Life's Gateway.

The Monday Night Candle Ceremony
The Monday Night Candle Ceremony is a very special healing ceremony to honor our furchildren & feathered friends who have crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
To participate, you need only to have compassion, empathy and respect for those who have lost a Baby. As most of us have lost a precious baby at one time we know the loss, carry it with us still, and know the comfort we can offer is appreciated beyond what words can explain.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
